Floating Flowers and Additional settings
Site: Genova
Year 2024 2025
Floating structures extended Euroflora onto the water, creating quiet circular thresholds suspended between the Marina and the sky.
Along the exhibition route, additional settings — from the entrance installations to the riverside Pergola — guided visitors through a continuous dialogue between land, water, and horizon.
One of the iconic elements of the design competition was undoubtedly the proposal to create installations on the water of the Marina. Along these lines, three round, petal-shaped structures were designed and developed, forming an enclosed space that overlooked the water and defined a quiet, reflective threshold within the exhibition.
Following the same organic design strategy, other installations guided visitors across the exhibition route. In particular, the studio designed the settings that defined the main entrance to the event, as well as the Pergola along the Bisagno River, opening toward the horizon and the sea. These elements extended the narrative of Euroflora, creating transitions, pauses, and visual alignments between land, water, and sky.
