IL NIDO – Euroflora [RE]Edit
Genova Design Week 2025 – Chiostro di Santa Maria di Castello
The installation “Il Nido” was imagined as a reflection on the balance between matter, form, and reciprocity.
Each element, unstable when isolated, becomes a welcoming structure only when intertwined — a metaphor for collaboration and care.
Reusing the materials from Euroflora, the project finds a new life within the cloister of Santa Maria di Castello.
In the pavilion for Confagricoltura at Euroflora, the “Nest” was conceived as a metaphor for Nature that Welcomes.
Following the same compositional and constructive logic, here the “Nest” enters into dialogue with the cloister of Santa Maria di Castello, becoming an exhibition structure that narrates the Euroflora project.
The installation also serves as a reflection on the main theme proposed by Genova Design Week 2025 — Matter as a Creative Core.
Like the characters of a play, all the materials used in the installation come entirely from the Euroflora setups, finding a new scene within the cloister of Santa Maria di Castello.
